Donations can be made to any registered nonprofit organization at givehastings.org beginning April 16 through 11:59 pm on May 1. You can search for an organization by name, keyword, or service area. Each organization will have a donation page on givehastings.org where you can view their mission and services. Donations online are available via credit card.

Donations can be mailed to the Hastings Community Foundation office, 800 West 3rd St., Suite 232, Hastings, NE 68901. Please keep in mind that we must receive the check by May 1 to be included in the Give Day total. Donation forms can be found here.

Give Hastings Day is powered by the Hastings Community Foundation. By writing one check to the Hastings Community Foundation, it makes it simple whether the donor wants to donate to one organization or all of them.

Yes. You may make multiple donations with one transaction to registered organizations. For your security, payment information is not saved. Donors who wish to make additional gifts later will re-enter payment information.

When a gift is made on the website anytime from April 16 - May 1, you will be emailed a tax acknowledgment. Checks received for Give Day will be mailed a tax acknowledgment letter from the Hastings Community Foundation.

Your nonprofit organization will receive notice of online donations in real-time and will have access to a full online donation report during and after Give Hastings Day. You have the option to give anonymously.

If you accidentally make a gift to the wrong organization or make a duplicate gift by mistake, please contact us (using the blue "Support" button in the lower-right corner of the website) as soon as possible to make any adjustments.

After Friday, May 9 at 4 pm CT, all gifts made during the Giving Day period are considered final and non-refundable unless otherwise directed by the merchant processing company.

Please note that refunds can take 7-10 business days to process after settling.

Anyone can donate and support partciipating Give Hastings Day organizations. It's also a great oppoertunity to educate your family and workplace about the importance of giving.

Cash donations can be dropped off at the Hastings Community Foundation office during early giving (April 16 - May 1).

Donations made through Give Hastings Day are 100% tax-deductible.

Gifts can be made online from April 16-May 1, but the website won't show any totals until May 1. The reason is simple - we want to have something positive to look forward to on May 1! On May 1, the website will have a live leaderboard and show current giving totals.

The organization(s) will receive the full donation less a processing fee of 5.2%. This fee helps to cover expenses including website, credit card processing, and ensurs the sustainability of future Give Hastings Days. The Hastings Community Foundation does not receive fees of any kind for Give Hastings Day.

Yes. The Give Hastings Day site is powered by Neon One and is a secure PCI-Level 1 compliant site for donating to your favorite charities. For your security, payment information is not saved. You can be sure your personal information is protected when you donate through givehastings.org.
