2025 Prizes

Donor gifts are just one way that participating nonprofits benefit from Give Hastings Day participation. Thanks to generous sponsors and donors, there are a number of opportunities to raise additional dollars through prizes and Bonus Bucks! All prizes are cash grants to nonprofit organizations.

Bonus Bucks

Local sponsors contribute to a Bonus Bucks pool.

Every participating nonprofit will receive a proportional share of this fund!

endowment prize

$10,000

One nonprofit will receive $10,000 for a permanently endowed fund!

To be eligible, your nonprofit must be registered by noon on 1/31, attend an in-person GHD training session, and raise $1 more than you did during the 2024 Give Hastings Day.

Nonprofit Bonus Opportunities

Support them all

Donors have the option to support ALL Give Day organizations! Donations to this fund are split evenly among all Give Day participants.

Early Bird Registration

Nonprofits who complete their registration by noon on Friday, January 31 will be entered into a random drawing for $250!

Artists up to 12 can showcase their talents - and their favorite nonprofit! 6 drawings will be randomly selected for their favorite nonprofit to win $250!

Winning businesses will be based on Facebook likes. The business will select their favorite nonprofit to receive a $500 prize.

COuntdown to Give Day

A daily random nonprofit drawing leading up to Give Day. Each day, a randomly selected nonprofit will win $500.

HOURLY DRAWING

Random drawing from donations made the previous hour on Give Day. Each donation drawn provides a $250 bonus to that nonprofit.

SPEED GIVING

A bonus to the first 20 organizations who receive an online gift starting at 10 am on Give Day.
