The Nebraska Softball Foundation was established in 1975 to provide financial support for the youth scholarship program for program participants across the State of Nebraska as well as provide funding for office operations at the Nebraska Softball State Offices in Fremont, Nebraska. Following the construction of the Smith Complex and the Hall of Fame, funding has evolved more to provide support for the needed maintenance and capital improvements needed at their Hastings facilities and continuing with their statewide scholarship program.
