In the past year, the HPS Foundation has funded 20+ teacher-driven projects through our Staff Idea and QuickGrants programs, provided $77,000 in college scholarships to graduating seniors, supported students participating in a foreign language trip to France, grew the Middle School Garden, a center for science, innovation and community, hosted a nationally renowned expert in high ability learning for faculty and parents, sponsored travel to National History Day qualifiers from Hastings High, kept well-stocked food pantries at the Middle School and Senior High, honored the best of HPS through our Educator and Emerging Educator of the Year awards, and our brand new Senior Distinguished Educator and Brad and Dale Feeken Coach of the Year awards, and started the upgrade process on all five elementary school playgrounds.

We are currently in a matching fund campaign thanks to the Deb and John Quirk memorial that will upgrade band and orchestra instruments at Hastings Senior High.
