By providing financial assistance, HDC is able to make home ownership a reality to individuals and families through down payment assistance. HDC works with homeowners who are low to moderate income levels to provide rehabilitation grants. Qualified applicants could receive up to $25,000.00 in Home Repair Assistance. This can include many things such as: siding, roofing, new windows, new doors, HVAC system replacement, concrete work, flooring, accessibility such as walk in showers, accessible bathrooms, etc HDC provides housing for low to moderate income individuals and families in our rental properties at the Windridge apartments. HDC serves Hall County with education about finances, renting, and being a homeowner. HDC provides housing for homeless youth at the Maryland Living Center. HDC assists with abatement projects along with demolition of nuisance properties.
